Father's Day Concert at JCCGW

Hungarian violinist Zsuzsanna Emodi and the JCC Symphony Orchestra will appear in the Father's Day Concert at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington in Rockville on Sunday at 8 p.m. Schumann's Symphony No. 4, Bartok's Viola Concerto and Weber's Overture to "Der Freischütz" will be performed.

Tickets, $25, $20 for seniors and students and $15 for JCCGW members, can be purchased by calling 301-230-3775.

Exhibit opens at Ratner

The nine Artists of the Ratner Museum in Bethesda present an exhibit, Of the Flesh/Of the Spirit, at the museum June 16-Sept. 30. Using painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media and painted paper assemblage, the artists explore our connection to the divine source of creativity, love, courage and action.

The Dennis and Phillip Ratner Museum is open Sundays 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Monday-Thursday for groups by appointment. For information, call 301-897-1518.
