Beginning its 52nd year of service to the Dallas community, Jewish Family Service recently installed new board members and officers under the leadership of Gail Gilbert, incoming president. The agency's licensed professionals provide social and mental health services for families children, teens, adults and the elderly, including those with special needs.

Programs include career and employment services, counseling for individuals and families, a wide variety of services for the elderly, domestic and international adoptions, food pantry, and numerous support groups. A member of United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and a constituent agency of Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, Jewish Family Service was recently reaccredited by the Council on Accreditation for Services to Children and Families.
